Tropic Supply is seeking a Full-Time Counter Sales Representative for its South Miami Resource Center. This role is considered the "heartbeat" of the Resource Center, serving as the primary point of contact for contractors seeking answers, support, and HVAC/refrigeration products. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, enjoying problem-solving and helping others succeed. Tropic Supply is Florida's largest independent, family-owned HVAC and refrigeration distributor, looking for individuals who are reliable, communicate clearly, and are dedicated to creating memorable customer experiences. The position involves a mix of customer interaction, product knowledge, and physical work, focusing on strengthening customer loyalty and delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities

Greet every customer and build rapport.
Listen to customer needs and support them through the ordering process.
Manage orders with accuracy and speed, including entering sales orders, pulling products, and finalizing transactions.
Solve product and parts questions, ensuring contractors receive the correct items.
Support the entire Resource Center by stocking shelves and assisting with inventory counts.
Help customers load products, including heavier materials, ensuring safe handling.
Handle returns, warranties, and credits, providing clarity and correct information to customers.
