About The Position

QC Supply is seeking a dynamic Counter Sales/Parts Associate for their Willmar, MN location. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy providing outstanding customer service, and have a keen eye for detail and organization. The associate will be responsible for supporting walk-in customers in the showroom, as well as picking, packing, and shipping orders accurately and on time. This position is crucial to the team's success, ensuring smooth operations from product arrival to final billing. The role offers a blend of customer interaction, sales support, and operational tasks, making it a dynamic position for those who enjoy variety and seeing processes through from start to finish.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Ability to read and understand English.
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced customer-driven environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Sales and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours a week with occasional overtime.

Responsibilities

  • Greeting and assisting customers in the showroom and over the phone.
  • Providing outstanding customer service and sales support.
  • Picking, packing, and shipping orders accurately and on time.
  • Ensuring all products are organized and ready for shipment.
  • Utilizing inventory management systems for verification and data entry.
  • Recommending appropriate parts and equipment to customers.
  • Educating customers on new products and special promotions.
  • Operating office equipment and handling payment transactions.
  • Utilizing computer operating systems efficiently.
  • Assisting with inventory management, including shelving products and performing cycle counts.
  • Maintaining inventory levels to ensure adequate stock.
  • Coordinating with the warehouse to ensure proper accounting of materials.
  • Keeping the parts counter and showroom neat and clean.
  • Performing daily tasks as assigned.
