About The Position

This role involves responding to customer inquiries, processing orders, and managing the purchasing and sourcing of materials. The position focuses on developing and maintaining positive customer relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction with all aspects of the service, and handling counter sales and returns. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in computer applications.

Requirements

  • Exceptional customer service
  • Ability to warm up and develop rapport with potential customers
  • Ability to develop long term relationships and generate referrals from your customers
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Computer skills (Word, Excel, Email)
  • Self-motivated; able to function effectively both independently and as a member of a team
  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent required

Nice To Haves

  • Post-Secondary courses in Plumbing, Electrical or Heating are considered an asset
  • Knowledge of the Plumbing, Electrical and Heating industry or a background in plumbing products would be considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Responding to inquiries and processing incoming calls and orders
  • Purchasing materials for customers and sales negotiations
  • Sourcing materials for customers when currently not in stock
  • Developing and maintaining positive customer relationships
  • Ensuring that customers are satisfied with order taking, product, pricing, deliveries and overall service
  • Counter Sales and handling returns as required
  • Other duties as required
