About The Position

The Counter Sales Associate provides an exceptional customer experience while participating directly in day-to-day store operations and contributing to sales goals. The role collaborates with the Store Manager and local team to manage inventory, maintain store appearance, record products received and shipped, and prepare items for shipment. The associate may perform as Store Manager when needed, including scheduling, ordering, and opening and closing procedures. This is a salaried non-exempt position eligible for overtime pay when applicable.

Requirements

• High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 2 years of related experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft applications.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of customer service using product expertise and selling skills.
• Maintain the appearance of the store.
• Collaborate with the Store Manager and local team on day-to-day operations.
• Manage inventory.
• Record products received and shipped and prepare items for shipment.
• Complete all assigned training within the given timeframe.
• Perform as Store Manager when needed, including scheduling, ordering, and carrying out opening and closing procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
