About The Position
White Cap is hiring a Counter Sales Associate to serve walk-in, phone, and will-call customers. The role provides customer service, processes orders and quotes, shares product information and technical advice, and helps customers find solutions. Associates may also pull orders and recommend related products and promotions. Other duties may be assigned.
Nice To Haves
- Demonstrated success providing excellent customer service.
- Experience with sales order computer software, preferably Oracle.
- Knowledge of construction and industrial products.
- Spanish language proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to walk-in, phone, and will-call customers.
- Process orders, quote prices, enter orders into the system, and provide order information to customers.
- Pull orders as required.
- Communicate product features, benefits, and warranty policy information to customers.
- Demonstrate product knowledge and explain applications, provide technical advice, troubleshoot, and help resolve customer problems.
- Upsell related products and add-on extensions, and inform customers about product promotions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
