About The Position
Seekonk Grand Prix is looking for friendly, high-energy Counter Help Team Members to join our Pit Stop Food Trailer crew! As the face of our food trailer, you’ll take orders, handle payments, and deliver a fast, fun, race-day experience for our guests. If you enjoy working with people, staying busy, and being part of an exciting entertainment environment, this is the job for you!
Requirements
- Strong customer service skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
- Team-oriented and dependable
- Basic math skills and ability to handle transactions
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Must be available nights, weekends, and holidays during peak season
Nice To Haves
- Previous cashier or food service experience is a plus, but not required — we’ll train the right candidate!
Responsibilities
- Greet guests with a friendly, upbeat attitude
- Take accurate food and beverage orders
- Operate POS system and handle cash/credit transactions
- Prepare and serve drinks and simple food items as needed
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure quick service
- Maintain a clean, organized front counter and service area
- Restock condiments, napkins, cups, and supplies
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Answer guest questions about menu items
