About The Position
The Counter Associate role is ideal for those with trade experience looking to move away from installs and into a steady, hands-on position. You’ll provide excellent customer service while processing, picking, and staging customer orders, supporting counter, warehouse, and yard operations in a safe and organized environment. Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent; or 1–2 years of related experience and training; or An equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to pass operator exam and safely operate powered industrial equipment.
- Must pass a substance abuse screening.

Responsibilities
- Deliver an excellent customer experience by meeting or exceeding customer expectations
- Assist counter customers by answering questions, identifying needs, and processing sales orders
- Pick, package, and stage customer orders accurately and efficiently, typically within one hour of order release
- Understand warehouse/yard layout, bin locations, and product inventory
- Verify orders, label materials, complete documentation, and stage orders in designated locations
- Handle materials carefully to prevent damage, shipping errors, and inventory discrepancies
- Operate material handling equipment safely and follow all safety procedures
- Support stocking, cleanliness, and organization of the counter, warehouse, and yard
- Build and maintain positive customer relationships and support product promotions
- Assist warehouse and other team members as needed
- Maintain regular, reliable attendance and work safely at all times
