Responsible for handling gaming drops, table game, and reconciliations. Requirements

  • Must have excellent communication skills, be polite, and present a neat appearance at all times.
  • The ability to work with others as a team in an efficient manner.
  • The ability to apply common sense reasoning to variety of situations
  • Proven experience providing high level of guest service
  • The ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide
  • The ability to read, write, comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English
  • The availability to work all shifts.
  • The ability to work in a fast–paced environment and stressful situations.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company.
  • The ability to verify the right to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Some college courses in banking and finance or related area preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains a thorough working knowledge of laws, rules and regulations of the Gaming Commission, as well as policies, procedures and controls.
  • Counts and reconciles venue banks.
  • Ensures the integrity of all count room transactions.
  • Removes bill validator boxes from machines and places them in a secure cart.
  • Transports the cart, accompanied by security, to the count room.
  • Performs table games drops, counting money, and reconciling gaming revenue.
  • Prepares various reports, including Master Gaming Report, transfer sheets, Hotel bank paperwork; forwards all information to appropriate individual(s).
  • Maintains all records, reports and other required paperwork in the Count Room Area of the Finance Department.
  • Conducts the necessary research to effectively resolve count team disputes.
  • Performs Kiosk fills and count cassettes and bill validator boxes.
  • All other duties as assigned.
