About The Position

The Count Team Member is responsible for collecting, sorting, counting, and recording of gaming results as well as the overall operation of the soft count room and currency counting equipment. This role also involves promoting positive public/employee relations, maintaining a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment, and transporting departmental wheeled carts to and from secured locations. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Strong cash handling and counting skills
  • Proficient basic math skills with ten key experiences
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Meticulous, organized and accurate
  • Extreme confidentiality
  • Familiarity with a variety of computer systems and applications
  • Be flexible to work varying shifts and time schedules as needed
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of employees and guests
  • Manage multiple details and tasks concurrently in a changing environment
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment
  • Analyze and think about how possible solutions impact on the entire operation

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum one (1) year cash handling experience preferred, ideally in the casino or banking industry

Responsibilities

  • Records Cash drop
  • Verifies documentation removed from drop boxes with information recorded on master game worksheet
  • Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times
  • Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility
  • Responsible for the transportation of departmental wheeled carts to and from secured locations.
  • Other duties as assigned.
