About The Position

The Count Team Clerk is responsible for handling bill validator drops and sorting, counting, and recording the contents of table drop boxes, kiosks, and bill validator boxes according to established procedures. The position oversees proper accounting of these contents, counts and sorts money and chips accurately, and follows applicable Nevada Gaming Control Board regulations, internal controls, and company and departmental procedures.

The role requires working independently without constant supervision and remaining calm under stress when business volume increases. Work includes weekends, early mornings, and holidays. Physical duties include maneuvering around count rooms, handling carts and bill validator boxes, and standing and walking for extended periods. The work environment may include high noise levels and secondary smoke.

Requirements

• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Legible handwriting.
• Ability to work independently without constant supervision.
• Ability to maneuver in and around count rooms.
• Ability to push and pull carts weighing up to 75 pounds and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to obtain all local, state, and federal regulatory permits required for the position.
• Ability to work calmly under stress when business volume increases.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to grasp and grab objects regularly and for prolonged periods.
• Ability to perform repetitive arm, hand, and finger movements regularly and for prolonged periods.
• Ability to bend and squat regularly and for prolonged periods.
• Ability to tolerate high noise levels and secondary smoke.

Responsibilities

• Remove bill validator boxes from slot machines and place them on a cart.
• Oversee proper accounting of the contents of table drop boxes, kiosks, and bill validators.
• Count and sort large sums of money and chips quickly and accurately.
• Follow applicable Nevada Gaming Control Board regulations, internal controls, and company and departmental procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
