Count Team Attendant
About The Position
The Count Team Attendant functions as a member of the Drop Team, Drop Box Openers, Currency Counter Operator, and Recorder. This role is responsible for collecting gaming device drop boxes from HRM machines, safeguarding un-audited assets, and processing the unaudited money from these boxes. The attendant will run money through a currency counter, record cash and paperwork activity, and verify currency. Keying in information onto the computer and maintaining a clean count room area are also key responsibilities. The position requires adherence to company count policies and procedures, and conducting oneself in a manner that reflects positively on the property.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license and a Race & Sportsbook employee license.
- Available to work when needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights.

- Prior experience and a gaming background preferred.
Responsibilities
- Adheres to company count policies and procedures, and requirements.
- Responsible for collecting gaming device drop boxes from HRM machines.
- Safeguarding un-audited assets in storage carts.
- Obtains HRM machine drop boxes from storage carts, opens and empties the unaudited money out of all boxes.
- Responsible for running money through the currency counter for counting.
- Records cash and paperwork activity on the drop count sheets.
- Verifies each shift’s bundles and strapped currency on a scope basis.
- Keying in information onto the computer.
- Cleaning up the count room area.
- Conduct oneself in a manner that reflects positively on the property and encourages others to do the same.
- Other duties as assigned.
