About The Position

Count Team Attendant responsibilities include acting in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures. Primary responsibilities include being part of a team that removes bills from validators from slot machines (the drop) and counts funds from table games and slots and poker, sportsbook, keno, and kiosk (the count). Ensures compliance and integrity of the drop and count from gaming operations pursuant to the System of Internal Control Standards.

Requirements

  • Must be 21+ years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively with little supervision or as a team.
  • Ability to maintain effective relationships.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy are required.
  • Be able to perform math calculations without the use of a calculator.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license from Gun Lake Tribal Gaming Authority.
  • Ability to demonstrate US work authorization during the employment verification process.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background investigation, and drug test.

Nice To Haves

  • Computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Practicing, supporting, and promoting Gun Lake Casino Resort’s “Unsurpassed Service Standards” at all times.
  • Protecting company assets.
  • Complying with Gun Lake Casino Resort’s System of Internal Controls (SICS) and policies and procedures and contributing to the integrity of the drop and count.
  • Performing daily scheduled drop of bill validators from slot machines.
  • Opening slot bill validators, and sorting and counting the currency inside the validators using the currency counting machines.
  • Sorting, verifying, and bundling currency according to denomination.
  • Ensuring slot count is complete, accurate, and properly documented.
  • Opening Table Games pit boxes, sorting and counting the currency inside the box using the currency counting machines.
  • Sorting and counting Table Games paperwork for fills, credits, and coupons by box and shift.
  • Inputting totals for all activity by box and shift into the computer.
  • Ensuring Table Games count is complete, accurate, and properly documented.
  • Remitting all tallied currency to the Cage and the necessary reports to Accounting.
  • Maintaining the general cleanliness of the count room at all times.
  • Opening Poker cans, sorting and verifying contents.
  • Filling and processing Kiosks – including BV’s and cash cassettes.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
