About The Position

This position is responsible for collecting money collection cans from various gaming areas, maintaining control of casino assets, and transporting and counting all collected money. The role requires adherence to all procedures for collection, counting, and asset security, as well as accurate and timely completion of all necessary paperwork. The job also involves understanding and adhering to all relevant gaming regulations.

Requirements

• Appropriate use of office equipment, including personal computer, telephone with voice mail system, 10-key calculator, and copy machine.
• Appropriate use and maintenance of equipment and machinery used for transporting and counting funds.
• Must be able to work any assigned shift, including late nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Read, write, and understand simple instructions.
• Understand and adhere to all Missouri Gaming Commission regulations and any other applicable federal, state, and/or local regulations.
• Required to stand and walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, and controls, reach with hands and arms, and talk and hear.
• Required to bend or stoop and to lift up to 100 pounds, including lifting overhead.
• Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Exposure to variable temperatures, smoke, steam, and wet areas.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually somewhat loud.

Responsibilities

• Collect money collection cans from all assigned slot machines, bill validators, change machines, and/or table games boxes, and replace with empty cans.
• At all times, maintain control of all casino assets.
• Follow all procedures for collection, counting, and asset security at all times.
• Transport assets to count room.
• Count all money collected from the gaming floor.
• Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation timely, accurately, and legibly.
