About The Position

This position is responsible for collecting money from various gaming machines and areas, transporting it to the count room, and accurately counting the funds. The role requires strict adherence to all procedures for collection, counting, and asset security, as well as maintaining control of all casino assets. Accurate and timely completion of all necessary paperwork and documentation is essential. The position also involves the appropriate use of office equipment and machinery used for handling funds. The ability to work any shift, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime, is required. Team members must be able to read, write, and understand simple instructions, and adhere to all relevant gaming and governmental regulations. The work environment involves standing, walking, and using hands and arms, with the ability to lift up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities are necessary, and exposure to variable temperatures, smoke, steam, and wet areas is possible. The work environment is typically somewhat loud.

Requirements

• Appropriate use of office equipment, including personal computer, telephone with voice mail system, 10-key calculator, and copy machine.
• Appropriate use and maintenance of equipment and machinery used for transporting and counting funds.
• Must be able to work any assigned shift, including late nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Read, write, and understand simple instructions.
• Understand and adhere to all Missouri Gaming Commission regulations and any other applicable federal, state, and/or local regulations.
• Required to stand and walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, and controls, reach with hands and arms, and talk and hear.
• Required to bend or stoop and to lift up to 100 pounds, including lifting overhead.
• Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

• Collect money collection cans from all assigned slot machines, bill validators, change machines, and/or table games boxes, and replace with empty cans.
• Maintain control of all casino assets at all times.
• Follow all procedures for collection, counting, and asset security at all times.
• Transport assets to count room.
• Count all money collected from the gaming floor.
• Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation timely, accurately, and legibly.
