About The Position

The Count Attendant assists with the daily count according to the established procedures, ensuring that the counting and wrapping machine equipment is in working order. Attend to paper jams when necessary; wrapping cash after it has been counted; assuming joint responsibility for the assets accounted for during the count until it has been signed over. Perform other duties as assigned. Must be willing to work in a secondhand smoke environment.

Requirements

• Must be age 21.
• Written and oral communications are required in the primary language used in the work area.
• Basic math skills.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Must qualify for a Gaming License.
• Must be able and willing to work any schedule, holidays, and weekends.

Nice To Haves

• Preference will be given to qualified Susanville Indian Rancheria Tribal Members. Indian preference is granted in accordance with P.L. 93-638.

Responsibilities

• Counting and wrapping of monies.
• Maintain a shift log and note any irregularities or problems.
• Help ensure cleanliness of work area and machines.
• Other duties as assigned.
