About The Position

Boyd Gaming Corporation is a leading casino entertainment company in the United States. This role involves developing and maintaining positive customer rapport, completing transactions accurately, performing minor machine maintenance, and completing all necessary paperwork and records. The position requires ensuring the protection of company property and funds, maintaining the safety and cleanliness of assigned areas, and managing secure key controls. A key responsibility includes paying and verifying jackpot winnings to customers and completing the required documentation.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Able to operate electric cart and money counters.
• Must be detail-oriented.
• Stooping, reaching, pulling, standing, sitting, standing and walking, heavy lifting up to 50 lbs. and use of repetitive motions.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as required by local gaming regulations.

Nice To Haves

• Prior count room experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, apply, and maintain a friendly and courteous rapport with customers and employees.
• Perform minor machine maintenance, such as lock and unlock machine doors, clearing jams, replenishing paper, and resetting machines.
• Complete written department forms to document cash transactions, jackpot payouts, etc. in an accurate, legible manner.
• Carry and effectively communicate by two-way radio.
• Conduct slot floor activities to ensure protection of company property and funds; and maintain the safety and cleanliness of assigned areas.
• Maintain secure key controls at all times.
• Pay and/or verify jackpot winnings to customers and complete required written documentation.
