About The Position

BrightView Health is seeking a proactive and compassionate Counselor to contribute to its treatment team and support individuals on their journey toward recovery. The role involves addiction therapy and delivering quality care in a dynamic counseling environment. The Counselor helps shape therapeutic programs and supports patients on their path to wellness.

Requirements

• At minimum, a bachelor's degree, consistent with state-level regulation and requirements.
• Active clinical licensure consistent with state-level regulatory requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of experience in a relevant field.
• Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct group therapy sessions and patient intake assessments based on clinic needs and best-practice guidelines.
• Provide crisis and de-escalation techniques.
• Assist with treatment planning.
• Review progress toward treatment plan goals.
• Coordinate patient care with the onsite multidisciplinary team.
• Attend required meetings, including onsite staff meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Timely and comprehensively document necessary treatment data in the electronic patient health record.
• Follow applicable regulatory and company compliance requirements.
