About The Position

Stewards of Recovery is seeking a full-time or part-time Counselor to join our team. We are looking for a compassionate, motivated, and clinically skilled professional who is licensed in Idaho and has experience providing substance use and/or mental health treatment. We are a small, community-focused agency that has served Idaho for more than 10 years. Our goal is to provide individualized, patient-centered care while creating a supportive environment for both our clients and our staff. Our counselors work with adults, youth, and families seeking treatment for substance use disorders, mental health concerns, or co-occurring disorders.

Requirements

• Hold an active Idaho license as an LCSW, LMSW, LMFT, LPC, or LCPC
• Have experience in substance use treatment and/or mental health therapy
• Be comfortable working with diverse populations
• Be familiar with electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Be able to complete required clinical documentation within 72 hours

Responsibilities

• Conducting clinical assessments
• Providing individual therapy
• Facilitating group therapy
• Providing couples and family therapy
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
• Completing clinical documentation in a timely manner
• Collaborating with clients, families, and community partners
• Performing other clinical duties as needed
