Counselor/Therapist (LAPC, LPC, LPCC) - Full Time or Part Time
About The Position
Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch is seeking to hire an experienced and dedicated Mental Health Therapist to provide mental health care for children and adolescents aged 10-17. The Ranch is a place of hope and healing where children with psychiatric and behavioral issues find professional care, compassionate expertise, and new possibilities. The organization helps children who are difficult to place by enabling them to become the best versions of themselves. The position is open to LAPC, LPC, and LPCC candidates and can be either full-time or part-time. The Ranch provides free supervision hours for those pursuing licensure and pays for additional therapeutic modality training.
Requirements
- Have or be working towards a master's or doctorate degree.
- Be eligible to be licensed in Counseling or Social Work in North Dakota.
- Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC)
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)

Responsibilities
- Walk alongside our youth during their mental health journey and advocate for them by connecting them with the resources they need to accomplish their treatment goals.
- Provide evidence-based services to help youth meet their goals.
- Work with a professional, multi-disciplinary team to coordinate and collaborate on services.
- Conduct individual, family, and group therapy.
- Communicate and document services, care, and treatment.
- Complete assessments and regularly evaluate the effectiveness and outcomes of techniques.
- See the treatment plan unfold and help children in real time.
