Our Substance Use Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is designed to help clients develop coping skills, achieve sobriety, and build a strong foundation for long-term recovery. We are excited to welcome a dedicated Counselor to our dynamic IOP team. The Counselor will provide both group and individual therapy services to young adults participating in our Substance Use IOP program. This role plays a key part in supporting clients through recovery-focused interventions, treatment planning, and ongoing case management within a structured, evidence-based environment.

Requirements

Master’s Degree in a related field (e.g., counseling, social work, psychology) with licensure (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) or certification (CAADC), or eligibility to obtain.
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with CADC, or eligibility to obtain.
Associate’s Degree in a related field with CAAC, or eligibility to obtain.
High School Diploma with CAAC.

Responsibilities

Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions focused on substance use recovery, relapse prevention, emotional regulation, and coping skills
Provide individual therapy sessions and ongoing case management for assigned clients
Conduct intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and level-of-care recommendations as needed
Develop and update individualized treatment plans with measurable goals
Collaborate with families (when appropriate), referral sources, and internal team members to ensure continuity of care
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
Participate in case reviews, team meetings, and clinical supervision to support quality of care
