Our Substance Use Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is designed to help clients develop coping skills, achieve sobriety, and build a strong foundation for long-term recovery. We are excited to welcome a dedicated Counselor to our dynamic IOP team. The Counselor will provide both group and individual therapy services to young adults participating in our Substance Use IOP program. This role plays a key part in supporting clients through recovery-focused interventions, treatment planning, and ongoing case management within a structured, evidence-based environment.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in a related field (e.g., counseling, social work, psychology) with licensure (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) or certification (CAADC), or eligibility to obtain.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with CADC, or eligibility to obtain.
  • Associate’s Degree in a related field with CAAC, or eligibility to obtain.
  • High School Diploma with CAAC.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions focused on substance use recovery, relapse prevention, emotional regulation, and coping skills
  • Provide individual therapy sessions and ongoing case management for assigned clients
  • Conduct intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and level-of-care recommendations as needed
  • Develop and update individualized treatment plans with measurable goals
  • Collaborate with families (when appropriate), referral sources, and internal team members to ensure continuity of care
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
  • Participate in case reviews, team meetings, and clinical supervision to support quality of care
