About The Position

The Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District is recruiting for a part-time faculty pool position in the Health Services department. Under administrative leadership, part-time faculty perform work supporting the colleges’ and District’s visions, missions, and values. Responsibilities may include duties related to an assigned role, student evaluation, curriculum, student advising, professional development, and assignment-specific needs. Applications remain in the pool for one year, and candidates may be contacted for interviews as needed. Work hours vary based on assignment. The anticipated start date is Spring 2027.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in counseling, rehabilitation counseling, clinical psychology, counseling psychology, guidance counseling, educational counseling, social work, career development, marriage and family therapy, or marriage, family and child counseling, or the equivalent.
• Alternatively, a bachelor’s degree in one of the listed fields and a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) license may qualify.
• Applicants relying on equivalency must submit an Equivalency Determination Form and supporting equivalency materials.
• Employment is contingent upon successful fingerprint clearance.
• New employees must provide acceptable proof of identity and authorization to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

• Current California license as a Marriage & Family Therapist (MFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Clinical Psychologist.
