About The Position
Greater Philadelphia Health Action, Inc. (GPHA) is a non-profit healthcare organization dedicated to providing compassionate and affordable healthcare services. Since 1970, GPHA has grown to become a leading provider of primary and behavioral healthcare in the Greater Philadelphia area. We are currently seeking full-time Counselor III positions within our Behavioral Healthcare Division. These roles involve a range of tasks aimed at the lasting rehabilitation of substance abusers, including individual counseling, group work, and support of ancillary activities. The positions will also assist in the development of mental health services and provide direct services to patients within the GPHA/AL-ASSIST Behavioral Health Care Program.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Human Services field or related field
- Two (2) years’ experience in substance abuse or related field
Nice To Haves
- Psychology background
- One year counseling experience
- LPC OR LCSW preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform a wide variety of tasks designed to effect the lasting rehabilitation of substance abuser.
- Individual counseling
