About The Position

Columbia Community Mental Health is a nonprofit agency and Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic that provides services to individuals with mental, addiction and developmental disabilities. Requirements

  • Licensure Required (LCSW, LPC).
  • Master’s degree in psychology, Counseling Psychology, Social Work or related field from an accredited college required.
  • Two years related work experience to include Crisis, Outpatient, Addictions and high acuity client services preferred.
  • Combination of education/experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties outlined for this position may be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Provides therapeutic services to adults, children, adolescents, and families as assigned.
  • Conducts comprehensive clinical assessments as part of the diagnostic process.
  • Reviews ongoing delivery of services.
  • Identifies individual client needs and diagnoses substance use and/or mental health disorders.
  • Conducts individual, family and group sessions to provide therapeutic treatment, and behavior modification using evidence-based practice to assist clients in reaching treatment goals.
  • Assists in case management and coordination of community resources to meet client needs as a member of clinical staff and treatment teams.
