Columbia Community Mental Health is a nonprofit agency and Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic that provides services to individuals with mental, addiction and developmental disabilities. Crisis receiving and stabilization services offer the community a no-wrong-door access to mental health and substance use care. Our Crisis receiving Center (CRC) provides a safe, dry, warm space where people experiencing a mental crisis can stay for observation for up to 23 hours. The vision of the CRC is to change the way the community sees, treats, and supports those in mental health crisis. The Counselor I, as part of an integrated care team, will provide therapeutic services to adults, children, adolescents and families as assigned by a designated QMHP or Clinical Supervisor. The Counselor I may be assigned to any agency program including, but not limited to: ACT, Crisis, Intensive Services, Outpatient, Jail Diversion, Wrap, Residential or Detox. Essential duties may vary per location/department/position.
