About The Position

Position at JBS USA Responsibilities: Drive and lead cost saving initiatives throughout the facility. Utilize Operational Excellence methodologies to identify cost opportunities, close gaps, drive results, and manage the cost budget in coordination with department owners on a daily basis. Apply zero-based methodologies for cost savings reductions and lead the supplies budget for the facility. Aid in development of operational performance strategies and KPIs, to appropriately cascade down goals of the business to all management levels/departments. Track, communicate, and follow up on KPI performance and action plans on a weekly basis. Provide training, mentoring, and guidance to others in the business in fact-based problem solving, use of continuous improvement tools and techniques, and promote a culture of continuous improvement to maximize productivity, while minimizing waste and inefficiencies within the facility. Guide others to resolve complex opportunities, using established best practices, methodologies, and solutions. Sustain, manage, and build off of the current 5S Program and 5S Pilot Areas. Responsible for maintaining visual management and standardization practices.

Requirements

  • Knowledge/Experience with Cost Management and OpEx tools
  • Strong Office Package user (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills

  • Hands-On & Detail Oriented
  • Statistical Skills

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience in manufacturing environment, specifically the beef industry desired.
  • Six Sigma Certification
