About The Position

Accurately estimate the costs associated with developing and producing products.

Requirements

• Excellent computer skills with a high degree of proficiency in Excel and MieTRAK.
• Good visualization skills, including the ability to visualize in 3D.
• Superior logic and reasoning skills.
• Ability to work unattended.
• Detail oriented with excellent analytical skills.
• The ability to understand tolerances, metric and inch unit systems.
• Ability to read and clearly understand complex engineering drawings is required.
• Must have good organization and decision making skills with a keen sense of urgency.
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Must possess a good understanding of current market values in the manufacturing field.
• Possess a highly developed understanding of manufacturing processes and capabilities at GHMS.
• Must be able to work with vendors obtaining competitive material and outside process pricing.
• Must to be able to work closely with engineering, management, accounting, sales, customer service and production personnel.
• Must be team oriented, have the ability to read blueprints, excellent written and verbal skills, and an understanding of English and Metric systems.
• Must be able to work from written or verbal instructions

Nice To Haves

• Experience is also desired in AutoCAD and Solid Works
• 2-year degree in related business field desired
• 3 to 5 years experience estimating both material and labor in a manufacturing organization is highly desired
