Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, Commerce, Accounting, or a related field
• 1–2 years of experience in cost control or cost accounting, ideally on large construction projects
• Practical knowledge of engineering, procurement, and construction techniques, preferably gained on large EPC projects
• Working knowledge of Smartsheet and SPE
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel with advanced skills, including programming capabilities)
• Fluency in French is required
• Ability to build strong relationships with team members and stakeholders
• Strong analytical skills
• High attention to detail
• Ability to multitask effectively

• A good command of English is preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, assess, monitor, analyze, and report on project costs
• Collect and analyze cost-related data
• Implement cost-control measures and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Prepare budget reports and financial forecasts
• Ensure project budgets are adhered to
• Provide cost analysis and recommendations to management
• Coordinate and implement audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations
• Present cost analysis results to management and make recommendations
