Our team is excited to meet you! As a Cost Analyst 1 at ULA, you will play an important role on the Finance Integrated Program Team in Denver, CO.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good time management and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to deliver a clear/concise message.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and interpret basic financial or scheduling metrics.
  • Familiarity with concepts such as variance analysis, forecasting, or risk assessment.
  • Ability to work both on a team and think independently with a proactive approach to business solutions.
  • Must be a U.S. Person as defined in ITAR 22 CFR 120.62 (e.g., U.S. Citizen, Lawful Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) or protected individual).

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics or related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Proficiency with MS Excel, notably pivot tables, formulas and charts.
  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM).

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates with Control Account Managers (CAMs) to maintain cost and schedule baselines, prepare schedules, and assist in Estimate At Complete (EAC) evaluations.
  • Conducts financial/schedule analyses, including funding profiles, variance analysis, critical paths, and risk assessments. Utilizes performance metrics to improve program performance.
  • Ensures accurate expenditure records, prepares funding projections, tracks commitments, and integrates risks and opportunities with baseline schedules and costs.
  • Prepares and submits required deliverables and provides ad hoc reporting to support management decision-making.
