This role plays a critical part in maintaining accurate inventory records, managing warehouse financials, and supporting operational efficiency. Requirements
- Minimum of one-year post-secondary education in accounting or equivalent work experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to learn and navigate custom computer programs.
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Oracle, QAD, DataServ, or AS400 systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily inventory adjustments, product pricing updates, and reconciliation for assigned warehouses.
- Manage inventory in transit and oversee cycle counts to ensure accuracy and accountability.
- Handle accounts payable processes for designated warehouse accounts.
- Prepare monthly storage and claims accruals and perform balance sheet reconciliations.
- Perform weekly reconciliation between Hormel and 3PLs that operate our DCs.
- Assist with other accounting and administrative tasks as needed.
- Complete daily Subledger and General ledger reconciliations.
