About The Position
Adams, Inc. is a family-owned company based in Elkhorn, WI, specializing in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, solar, and home backup power. We’ve proudly served our communities since 1988 and continue to grow with multiple locations across Wisconsin and Illinois. We’re looking for a Cost Accountant to help track job costs, support our project teams, and ensure we stay financially strong while delivering quality work. This position is on-site in Elkhorn, WI. No remote or hybrid work available.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
Nice To Haves
- 3 years of construction job costing experience
- Experience in construction or trade-related accounting a plus
Responsibilities
- Track labor, material, and job costs
- Compare job budgets to actual costs
- Support job cost and profitability reporting
- Assist with WIP and month-end accounting
- Work closely with project managers and operations
