About The Position

This internship offers meaningful, fast-paced work with the region’s largest heavy civil construction and materials company. Interns will receive on-the-job training led by experienced members of the Allan Myers team, be assigned a buddy, participate in social networking events, and attend classroom training to develop professional skills. Each assignment is typically 3-6 months. Recent graduates will support the Accounting and Finance team in budgeting, forecasting, verifying daily field quantities and time cards, and reporting and analyzing financial results, including coding invoices to correct cost codes.

Requirements

• Pursuing or recently obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or another related degree
• 0-2 years of accounting or finance experience
• Must be a team player
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Willingness to learn and adapt to change
• Have a positive, can-do attitude

Responsibilities
