About The Position

Position supports the management of programs and projects across L3Harris IEC RTS organizations. Position reports to RTS Program Manager in Cape Canaveral, FL area and supports multiple SP23 Program Managers in FL and CA. Position performs Cost Account Management duties in conjunction with Program Management, Engineering, Contracts, and financial management personnel. Meets with internal stakeholders to execute assigned program/project tasks. Reports project financial status / issues to RTS PM and SP23 program manager to ensure the project financials are effectively executed. Manages financial performance of assigned projects; supports generation/conduct of Internal Program Review (IPR) material; develops Project Variance Analysis; reviews Project forecasts and maintains program/project financial/manhour expenditures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
  • Active US Secret Security Clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience and knowledge with implementation and use of EVMS in program execution.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills required with ability to perform Financial/Man Hour expenditure tasks across assigned projects.
  • Familiarity with Financial accounting systems and ability to identify trends in financial data.
  • Advanced experience using COBRA, MS Project, PowerPoint, etc for database access and manipulation of data.
  • Experience with Fundamentals of Project Planning and Cost/Schedule integration.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment with frequent demanding deadlines as well as to effectively interface with remote personnel.
  • Capability to support contract development and related contract execution of tasking.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with and lead multiple support organizations (Engineering, procurement and supply chain teams, etc.) in execution of day-to-day financial efforts and to support long range planning.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain financial and man-hour accruals, expenditures, and related Earned Value reporting for assigned projects.
  • Serve as the interface between program managers and financial analysts for financial and budget performance/execution relating to assigned SP23 Shipboard Systems.
  • Review of assigned Project financial data and prepare charts for monthly Internal Program Reviews and initial Program Baseline Reviews.
  • Attend and lead financial status reviews and conduct briefings with senior leaders, which requires ability to communicate matters of importance to the functional or business area.
  • Support weekly (or as planned) Integrated Product Team Meetings, Internal Program Reviews, Forecast Development and related CAM efforts and serve as the interface between Finance, PM and Contracts organizations for assigned projects.
