About The Position

This Pre-Apprenticeship is designed for current cosmetology students who are 300-600 hours into their program and are looking to gain real salon experience before graduation. At Salon Halo, teamwork and education are paramount. This program offers students the opportunity to work in a busy, upscale salon, learn from a top-performing team, and build essential skills. The role involves creating exceptional wash and blowout experiences for guests, supporting daily salon operations, and observing industry professionals. It serves as a stepping stone to Salon Halo's award-winning Apprenticeship Program, which includes structured education, hands-on training, and master programs.

Requirements

Current cosmetology students who are 300–600 hours into their program
Students available to work on Mondays at this location
Self-motivated, coachable team players who are eager to learn
Anyone who wants a head start on their career before graduation
Currently enrolled in a board-approved Florida cosmetology program

Nice To Haves

Graduates who are licensed or working toward their license (check out our Apprenticeship Program instead!)
Anyone not currently enrolled in a cosmetology program

Responsibilities
