About The Position

This role focuses on providing blowouts, braids, updos, and other specialty styling services. Unlike traditional salons, this position does not involve cuts, color, or chemicals. The company provides clients, so there is no need to build a personal clientele. The position offers hourly pay, tips, and commission opportunities on retail sales, add-ons, braids, updos, memberships, and extensions. It is ideal for licensed cosmetologists who enjoy the styling aspect of the beauty industry and want to work in a busy environment with a provided client base.

Requirements

• Current cosmetology license
• Availability to work weekends, including Saturdays
• Cosmetology students are welcome to apply and connect before graduation; a valid cosmetology license is required before working behind the chair.

Responsibilities

• Shampoo, blow dry, and style clients
• Create polished blowouts for all different hair types and textures
• Style braids, updos, and other specialty looks
• Recommend products and treatments based on each client’s hair needs
• Build relationships with regular clients
• Work alongside a fun, fast-paced team
• Help give every client the confidence boost that comes with really good hair
