COSMETICS COUNTER MANAGER
About The Position
As a Cosmetic Counter Manager, you represent Von Maur and help shape its reputation as America’s Leading Department Store. You are responsible for the complete operations of a cosmetic line and for inspiring a team of beauty advisors to achieve their personal and counter goals. You motivate, train, coach, and lead associates by example while developing relationships to grow the counter business. You also perform cosmetics sales associate duties and work toward individual sales and account goals. The role includes assessing associate performance, planning and executing cosmetic and gift-with-purchase events, and working a rotation of day, evening, and weekend shifts. Responsibilities
- Motivate associates to deliver outstanding customer service by training, coaching, and leading by example.
- Develop relationships to grow the cosmetics counter business.
- Perform the duties of a cosmetics sales associate and meet individual sales and account goals.
- Assess associate performance to improve customer service, increase sales, and meet counter goals.
- Plan and execute cosmetic events and gift-with-purchase events.
- Work a rotation of day, evening, and weekend shifts.
