About The Position

This role is for a Corrugator Stacker Operator on the 2nd or 3rd shift. The operator will be part of the production crew, focusing on preparing the machine for production runs according to customer orders. Responsibilities include assisting with running orders, monitoring the production process, and collaborating with management, maintenance, and other employees to resolve any issues. The role also requires adherence to OSHA requirements and safety rules, reading and understanding run sheets, and monitoring equipment for problems.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or GED.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, such as schedules and orders.
• Must be willing to work overtime on short notice, including weekends.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, with varying temperatures based on season, around machinery, and heavy Forklift traffic.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• One year of verifiable work history.

Nice To Haves

• 1 + year of experience in a packaging or other manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the machine for the production run, according to the customer order.
• Assists with running orders when the machine is ready by watching the run continue smoothly and without problem.
• Works with management, maintenance, and other company employees to fix problems.
• Follows all OSHA requirements and safety rules.
• Reads and understands run sheets.
• Watches belts, lifts, and tracks for nonconforming products and/or other related problems.
• Ensures all stacks are to communicated presentation standards, puts ties in when needed, and inserts load tag in bale.
• Performs P.M. and housekeeping duties as detailed in equipment specific instructions.
