About The Position

The primary function of the Corrugator Relief Operator position is to safely perform a wide range of tasks that include conducting quality checks, material set up, assisting crew members, maintaining a clean and organized space, and job coverage. This role is responsible for assisting or operating machinery to expected performance levels, providing coverage for breaks and absences in the corrugator department, and helping to meet or exceed production, waste, and quality goals. The operator will also assist crew members in a team environment and adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures. Special projects and assignments may also be given as business dictates. The role also includes responsibility for the maintenance, creation, and control of all personally identifiable information or any other information protected by any Confidentiality or Privacy Standards or Company Policies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year manufacturing experience preferred
  • Good computer skills, ability to track inventory in a computer
  • Able to communicate with all team members
  • Adhere to safety regulations
  • Must be team player, organized and detail oriented
  • Able to multi task in an environment with frequent changing priorities
  • Able to read a tape measure and use a wrench
  • Able to operate a fork truck, clamp truck and/or bobcat
  • Able to meet company quality and performance standards for job as specified

  • Assist with machinery operations during upset conditions
  • Provide coverage for breaks and absences in the corrugator department
  • Help meet or exceed production, waste and quality goals
  • Assist crew members and work in team environment
  • Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies and procedures
  • Perform special projects and assignments as business dictates
