About The Position

The Corrugator Production Supervisor is responsible for the overall productivity of the facility, maintaining department supplies, and monitoring and correcting plant waste. This role involves analyzing, organizing, coordinating, and reporting on departmental activities. The supervisor will also be responsible for conducting weekly and monthly safety meetings and tours, and ensuring correct machine production reporting. A key aspect of the role includes knowledge of printing inks/color management and adherence to industry and DS Smith specifications on all products. The supervisor must be able to problem-solve and rectify issues, and maintain positive working relationships with other departments. A primary focus is managing and coaching the crew to meet productivity, quality, and maintenance goals, while ensuring safety is the top priority for all employees and fostering a safe work environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 5-10 years of related experience or training

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of printing inks/color management.
  • Ability to problem solve and rectify issues.

Responsibilities

  • Comply and support all applicable GMPs, Site Security, and Food Packaging Defense requirements.
