WES internships are designed to provide students and recent graduates with hands-on experience in the oil and gas industry. Interns work alongside experienced professionals, gain valuable technical and professional skills, and contribute to meaningful, real-world projects that support business objectives. You’ll be working alongside experienced professionals and learning from the best in the field. Each intern is supported by a dedicated mentor who provide guidance and structured assignments throughout the internship to ensure a meaningful and well-rounded experience. Interns participate in a formal mid-term review to discuss progress and development. At the conclusion of the internship, interns deliver a presentation summarizing their project work, followed by a performance discussion with their mentor. At WES, you will be part of a diverse and collaborative environment where individuals are encouraged to perform their best and contribute to impactful work within the Asset Integrity Management Team. The Corrosion Prevention Intern will support the Corrosion Prevention Program across cathodic protection, internal corrosion monitoring, chemical treatment, regulatory compliance, and integrity risk management. The internship will combine field exposure, engineering analysis, and workflow modernization to help consolidate, visualize, and use corrosion-related information more effectively for decision-making and risk prioritization.
