About The Position

The Corrosion & Integrity Engineer specializes in corrosion affecting pipelines and equipment, including monitoring platform corrosion and maintaining mitigation policies. The role maintains pipeline integrity through cathodic protection programs and implements and updates corrosion strategies. It may also involve material investigations, maintenance and repair of cathodic protection systems, pigging operations, coordination of pipeline service and in-line inspection, and maintaining documentation and records. At Level IV, the engineer is responsible for the design, modeling, development, and testing of a machine, structure, or system. The role develops functional requirements, applies standard engineering principles, creates simulations and prototypes to evaluate preliminary designs, designs and tests components, and integrates them into final products. It also monitors product quality and process efficiency, evaluates designs for effectiveness, cost, reliability, and safety, investigates failure root causes, and recommends improvements. This is a 24-month W-2 assignment with no full-time employee conversion. The position is hybrid, with four days in the office and one day remote. The work location may be Chatsworth or Pico Rivera. The interview process includes multiple rounds with the host manager and three supervisors in a panel-style interview.
