About The Position

Vision Point Systems, Inc. is currently recruiting for a talented, innovative Corrosion Engineer. This role involves a mix of laboratory testing, field investigations, data analysis, and technical writing. The engineer will be responsible for developing and executing laboratory test plans, conducting field investigations, analyzing data, and producing technical documentation. Additionally, the position requires maintaining individual project schedules, identifying new project topics, writing white papers and proposals, and engaging with customers and sponsors to discuss and gather feedback on new project ideas.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in materials engineering, mechanical engineering, or other similar engineering degree from an accredited university or college
Demonstrated professional writing and presentation skills
Excellent ability to collaborate with a team
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance
3+ years of applicable experience

Nice To Haves

Experience working with and supporting US Navy and/or US Marine Corps programs
Technical expertise in materials science/engineering (especially corrosion and coatings), electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and military vehicle/ship platforms
Experience with data analysis and statistics
