About The Position

Vision Point Systems, Inc. is currently recruiting for a talented, innovative Corrosion Engineer. This role involves a variety of duties including laboratory test plan development and execution, field investigations, data analysis, and technical writing. The engineer will be responsible for maintaining individual project schedules, identifying topics for new projects, and writing white papers/proposals. Additionally, the role requires meeting with customers/sponsors to communicate and review new project ideas and solicit feedback.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in materials engineering, mechanical engineering, or other similar engineering degree from an accredited university or college.
Demonstrated professional writing and presentation skills.
Excellent ability to collaborate with a team.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
3+ years of applicable experience.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with and supporting US Navy and/or US Marine Corps programs.
Technical expertise in materials science/engineering (especially corrosion and coatings), electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and military vehicle/ship platforms.
Experience with data analysis and statistics.
