About The Position

The Corridor Access Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing access to transportation or utility corridors to support safe and efficient construction activities on infrastructure projects. This role works closely with internal project teams, contractors, and external stakeholders to secure approvals, manage access schedules, and ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and operational requirements. The position is critical to minimizing disruption and enabling timely project delivery.

Requirements

  • College, Trade, or Technical Diploma (2‑year) required, focusing on project coordination or construction management.
  • 2–4 years of experience in a project coordination, construction coordination, or infrastructure-related role.
  • Experience supporting permits, access agreements, or approvals within construction, utilities, transportation, or infrastructure environments.
  • Experience working with municipalities, regulatory bodies, or corridor owners.
  • Exposure to field construction environments and coordination with site teams.
  • Experience supporting multiple projects or work fronts simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate corridor access requirements for construction and maintenance activities.
  • Develop access schedules and sequencing plans to support project milestones while minimizing impacts to operations, the public, and stakeholders.
  • Act as the primary point of contact with corridor owners, municipalities, regulators, utilities, and third‑party stakeholders.
  • Coordinate permits, access agreements, and approvals required for work within controlled corridors.
  • Coordinate with construction teams to ensure access conditions, restrictions, and safety requirements are clearly communicated and adhered to.
  • Monitor field activities to confirm compliance with approved access plans and conditions.
  • Maintain accurate records of access approvals, permits, schedules, and communications.
  • Provide regular status updates and reporting to project leadership.
