About The Position

The Correspondent Services Specialist position provides support to the Correspondent Bank Division, to include client support of liquidity management, payment services and international services, as well as support for sales and marketing support of Correspondent Banking products and services.

Requirements

  • Three (3) years of related experience in bank operations, correspondent banking systems or similar functions
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
  • Attention to detail, with proven ability to accurately execute time-sensitive and complex tasks
  • Experience working with customers to recognize, research and resolve issues
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing reports and presentations
  • Effective organizational and time management skills
  • Basic knowledge of related federal and state banking compliance regulations and other operational policies

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business or related field is a plus
  • Knowledge of bank products, payments, bank operations, or international services is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Provide support in development, maintenance and implementation of correspondent banking products and services
  • Receive service support requests from correspondent bank clients and complete requests to resolution
  • Maintenance of correspondent accounts involving changes to client relationship, services or information
  • Assist with customer support functions through technical assistance and product training
  • Assist the division by coordinating communication and research of international payments and services
  • Coordinate projects aimed at enhancing current products and improving current processes, including the communication, and marketing of product introductions and releases
  • Support the Sales Officer roles in production of service proposals, provision of marketing collateral to match prospect needs, and coordination of presentations and demonstrations; including on-site discussions, association meetings, and trade show participation
  • Support the division in the management of Correspondent Division’s brand awareness and web presence
  • Responsible for being familiar with all compliance regulations and policies that are applicable to this position and follow and ensure compliance with these regulations and policies
