This position is for a Corrector (CUPE) for the course POL3182, Section A00, titled 'Indigenous Political Theory'. The course examines the theories and logics guiding political discourses and actions of Indigenous peoples in Canada and beyond, including topics such as critique of colonialism, Indigenous critical theory, identity politics, traditional ecological knowledges, nationalism, resistance and resurgence, and decolonization. The primary nature of the work involves marking papers and exams, with the student required to meet deadlines set by the supervisor. The teaching method will be delivered in person, requiring some work to be done on campus.
