About The Position

This position is for a Corrector for the course MGT5100: Research Design Methodologies and the Conduct of Research during the 2026 Fall Semester. The role involves marking 11 weekly assignments and 2 Development Assignments. The course will be delivered online, and the corrector must have access to a computer, internet, microphone, and webcam. The work is governed by the CUPE 2626 collective agreement. Requirements

  • Must be a Ph.D. student (or holding Ph.D. - preferred) in Management on an area directly related to Management.
  • Must demonstrate recent relevant and substantial managerial and research experience in the area of the course (normally over 3 years), with strong evidence of research activity.
  • Minimum grade of A in MGT5100 or its equivalent research methods courses.
  • Must be located in Ottawa for the entire duration of the course (with the exception of official University holidays), including through the grading of the final exam and calculation of final grades by the professor.
  • Access to a computer, internet, microphone and webcam.
  • Must successfully complete all mandatory legislated training offered by the University.

Nice To Haves

  • Substantial experience in teaching and/or teaching assistance of Research Methods courses.
