About The Position
This position is for a Corrector for the CHM1311A course (PRINCIPLES OF CHEMISTRY) during the Fall 2026 semester. The role involves grading midterms and a final exam, with a total of 80 hours allocated for grading. The work is performed at the Main Campus within the Faculty of Science, Department of Chemistry and Biomolecular Sciences. The hiring process will follow the CUPE 2626 collective agreement.
Requirements
- Candidate must have 1 full year of general chemistry, 1 full year of organic chemistry, CHM 2454, CHM 2131/2132 or their equivalents.
- Successful completion of WHIMIS and Occupational Health and Safety workshops (unless already done in previous semester).
- All those who are not a Chemistry graduate student will be required to write a test to qualify (unless already done in previous semester).
