About The Position
This position is for a Corrector for the Signal and System Analysis course (ELG3125A, Section A) during the Fall 2026 semester. The role involves marking quizzes and laboratory reports, as well as proctoring and consultation hours. The total estimated work hours are 130. The hourly rate depends on the student's academic level: undergraduate students will be paid $30.53/hour, and graduate students will be paid $36.63/hour. These rates do not include vacation or statutory pay and are subject to change based on a new collective agreement ratification. The language of work is English. The teaching method for this course will be delivered in person.
Requirements
- Preference will be given to candidates who have completed this course or its equivalent and its prerequisite(s) with a mark of A or better.
- Attend a TA workshop if necessary.
- Must be ready for an interview if considered for this position.
- If the responsibilities include DGD and/or TUT and/or LAB supervision or teaching, the applicant must be available for all of these.
- Good English communication skills are required.
- Good knowledge of MATLAB is required.
