About The Position

This position is for a Corrector (CUPE) for the course POL3106, Section A00, titled "Totalitarianism and Authoritarianism", during the Fall 2026 semester. The course is part of the Faculty of Social Sciences, School of Political Studies. The work involves marking papers and exams, and the student must meet deadlines set by the supervisor. The teaching method will be delivered in person, requiring some work to be done on campus. Students must be available to travel to the University of Ottawa campus in Ottawa at the request of their supervisor and/or the School. All University of Ottawa employees must complete mandatory legislated training. The hiring process is governed by the CUPE 2626 collective agreement. Requirements

  • Priority will be given to candidates in accordance with articles 18.5 and 18.6 of the CUPE collective agreement.
  • Students must be available to travel to the University of Ottawa campus in Ottawa at the request of their supervisor and/or the School.
  • All University of Ottawa employees are required under provincial law to successfully complete all mandatory legislated training offered by the University.
  • The hiring process will be governed by the current CUPE 2626 collective agreement.
